Cora had no chance to tell her beloved husband because she was dragged and forcefully taken to the king by the warriors. She screamed for help but no one was bold enough to challenge the order of the king. The king gagged her, tied her hands and legs and laid with her. Then sent her away, smiling, for he had done what he wanted for a very long time. How happy he was!
Badmos, got home after a stressful day at work. He met his darling wife sitting naked on the floor, weeping. He affectionately asked what the problem was and Cora narrated the whole ordeal.
"Oh! am finished" Badmos exclaimed, interlocking his fingers on his head. This infuriated him as he angrily took the old stool beside him and smashed it against the wall.
He wept with a heavyheart. "This can never happen to me" he thought to himself. Immediately he took his machete he came with from the farm and set out for the castle to go confront his brother. Cora begged him not to go that the king will hurt him if he is challenged. But her words fell on his deaf ears. Her enraged husband stormed out of the house with the machete without saying a word.
Cora was still crying as she watched her husband storm out angrily through their old front door with his sharp machete in his hands
As Badmos approached the castle, the king was standing at the balcony of his upper chamber. He saw him from afar walking towards the castle with a sharp machete in his hand filled with rage. The king knew what was on his mind already, so he ordered his warriors to stop him at once.
Then the king halloed from the balcony "brother! You dare not challenge the king with that piece of weapon in your hands. If you do not stop now I'll command my warriors to stop you". He said stretching his hands in the air to give a sign to his brother to stop. But the angry Badmos, didn't respond but kept focus, walking towards the castle angrily and sweating profusely.
"Stop him and if he seems difficult to handle, kill him!" the king gave the order, pointing to the incoming imminence.
At once a squad of warriors with spears, swords and arrows attacked Badmos. At first he was able to fight off and kill most of them. But unfortunately for him, he was later outnumbered and pierced with a spear right to the right side of the heart. He fell down to the ground and died painfully placing his left hand on his chest.
Immediately, king Zoa ordered that his body be discarded into the Vahem sea at the east coast border.
Badmos out of the way, king Zoa converted the widow Cora to be his wife, forcefully. She lived in the castle with him. She was given everything she wanted but she was never happy.
