Tide - Part Four

King Zoa assigned guards to watch over baby Jomash/Alpha every time of the day. Some watched him during the day and some at night. Before anyone could go see the baby, permission must be granted by the king including the mother, Cora.
One night, Cora told the king that she wanted to breast feed the child. Her request was granted. She went into the fortified room where the baby was, wrapped him in a black cloth and calmly wrapped the child on her back and wore her robe to cover him up.
She left the castle in that stormy night with the child and headed for the sea where his beloved husband's dead body was discarded.
Not long enough, news got to the king that the baby was missing. At once he called the maids, servants, warriors and everyone in the castle, "Who was the last person that went to see the baby?" He shouted with a huge scream.
"The mother, my Lord!" One of the maids responded fearfully.
At that instant the king ordered the escort of his best knights to go search for Cora and the child. The search caused so much unrest and panic in the entire kingdom.
After some time of searching, she was seen at the bank of Vahem sea with the baby in her arms. Shedding tears for she was about to kill her own child.
On seeing her from afar, the king took his bow and shot an arrow which struck her in the back. She fell to the ground and cried in pains and then she threw the child in her arms into the sea, then gave up the ghost. King Zoa rushed down to the bank to see his only heir sinking down into the water. He jumped into the sea to save the child. As he was about to grab the child in the water, a monstrous sea creature ate them up. And they were never seen again.
Bhort was later made king. And he declared a day to honour the painful sacrifice of Cora. He called it "Cora day". Which is still celebrated till this time.
